RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Capital Markets & Treasury Risk — National Bank of Canada

Risk Analysis Intern, Transformation Team | Montréal, QC | May 2026 – August 2026

As the only intern on the Transformation team, I worked on projects at the intersection of finance and technology. I developed an AI agent to support employee training and help teams navigate key resources more efficiently, while also contributing to real-time financial analysis through new Python code and improved analytical workflows. The role let me apply my engineering background in a new setting, using coding, data analysis, and structured problem-solving to rethink how financial risk teams work.

Brown University Performing Arts

Theatre Technician | Providence, RI | October 2025 - Present

A very different kind of engineering. I help turn creative ideas into physical spaces by fabricating custom sets, interpreting technical drawings, and working with machinery and rigging systems. The role combines hands-on building, rapid problem-solving, teamwork, and design under real-world constraints.

Elena

Hostess | Montréal, QC | May – August 2025

At one of Canada’s Top 100 restaurants, I helped coordinate the flow of 220+ guests on busy shifts. Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and keep complex operations running smoothly.

FUNDRAISING & IMPACT

Project 505

Co-Founder | UWC Atlantic

Alongside Michal Macinga and Zak Bentham, I helped build Project 505, a student-led fundraising initiative created by the UWC Atlantic Class of 2024. Our goal was ambitious: to fund a full scholarship for a future student and establish a tradition of graduating classes giving back to the community that shaped them.

Through student-led campaigns, events, outreach, and engagement with the wider UWC network, we raised $18k+ toward the scholarship fund. More than a fundraising campaign, Project 505 was an experiment in mobilizing students around a shared goal—expanding access to an education that can otherwise be financially out of reach.

Hot to Go

Co-Manager | UWC Atlantic

Hot to Go was a student-run sustainable social enterprise built around a simple idea: use food to strengthen our community while creating a sustainable source of social impact. Operating as a fully functioning student restaurant on campus, we held weekly services to raise money for a variety of causes.

As part of the management team, I helped oversee the restaurant’s operations and growth while securing a $47,000 grant to invest in long-term infrastructure and expand the project. Through our operations and community initiatives, we raised $9,000+ for scholarships and provided more than $600 worth of free meals to students in need.

The experience gave me an early introduction to entrepreneurship—balancing operations, sustainability, fundraising, community needs, and long-term growth while building something entirely student-led.
